Chinese medicine
Chinese Medicine has been used for thousands of years. According to the principle of Chinese Medicine, the illness or pain is caused by an imbalance or blockage of Qi which is translated as “vital force” or energy. The aim of the practitioner is to remove any blockages and create balance in the body. Chinese Medicine includes various practices such as Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion and other.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the insertion of a very thin needles into specific points on the body which stimulates the body’s natural healing processes. Acupuncture is used to treat a wide variety of conditions including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, skin issues, allergies, women’s health, and others.

CUPPING
During cupping treatment, cups are heated and placed on various parts of the body where they can be left for several minutes or they can be moved gently around the body which is called sliding cupping. It creates suction and that increases blood flow to the area.
Cupping can be used on its own or as an addition to acupuncture treatment. It is used to treat a variety of conditions such as chronic pain, muscle tension, respiratory problems, digestive disorders, and it can also relieve stress and anxiety.
MOXIBUSTION
Moxibustion involves burning herb - Mugwort (moxa) on or near the surface of the skin. The heat generated by burning the herb stimulates the flow of Qi and promotes healing. It can be used as an addition to acupuncture treatment.
Moxibustion is used to treat condition such as pain, digestive disorders and menstrual cramps.
GUA SHA
Gua Sha is a technique that involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool, often made of jade or another smooth stone. This technique can be used to release tension and tightness in the muscles, promote circulation, and stimulate the immune system.
Gua Sha is often used to treat pain, stiffness, and tension in the neck, shoulders, and back.

Naturopathy is a form of alternative medicine that focuses on promoting the body’s ability to heal itself.
